I flip the tank upside down so the float is at the top of the tank. then turn the key on. Then with the key on i flip the tank right side up and make sure the fuel bars in the gauge go down. Install the New Tank. Remove the phillips head screw inside the shut off valve. Take the handle of the valve off and save it.
