Next day at 39 weeks, I felt nothing. Took a nap and woke up at about 3:15pm with back pain and contractions. I waited about 20 mins to time contractions.I am currently 38 weeks and 3 days. When I had my cervical check last Friday I was 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Anybody else stay this way for a few weeks? I’d really like to make it to at least 39 weeks and ideally to 40. I went in to have my membranes stripped early in the morning at 2cm and by midnight I was having contractions 6-8min apart. I did do some walking and ate spicy food through out the day. By 3am I was at the hospital 5cm dilated. They had me walk for an hour in the hall to get me to 6cm then I was admitted :)
