Virtually any brand of 10w fork oil will be fine. You don't need an expensive type. Cheap Wallyworld 10w fork oil is fine. Be aware that a special tool is needed to disassemble the left fork on an 1800. Also be aware that a special tool or a home-made tool is needed to drive in the fork seals on any VTX.

I add Moly paste to my final drive when changing the oil. I also have my VTX on the jack and turn the wheel so it gets 5 to 6 ounces of oil. Runs cooler..
