I use CFE 223 in 223 for 69 gr Sierra MK's in precision loads. Never tried it for 55 gr bullets. For 55 gr FMJBT's. Tac (another ball powder) is what I use. Go to Hodgdon's site for CFE 223 loads. 223 Wylde shod be good to go with either .223 or 5.56 (higher pressure) loads. As for loads that seem to be accurate across platforms I have loved 75 gr Hornady BTHP over 24.0 gr Varget with CCI 450 Primers. Seems to shoot well with every rifle I have. C.

If you have good, clean, accurate loads with 55gr bullets I would say, for most shooting uses, you would be pretty close when going to the 62gr bullets using the same powder. Just tweek the charge.
