Jan 3, 2022 at 2:28 PM. I had a sweep at around 10am Thursday . I was 38+6. 4cm dilated 80% effaced. I began to lose more of my mucus plug around 5pm, and went for a walk. Next day at 39 weeks, I felt nothing. Took a nap and woke up at about 3:15pm with back pain and contractions. I waited about 20 mins to time contractions.As the cervix begins to open, the mucus plug dislodges and comes out like discharge.
