Offroad conditions present more chances to rub when the truck is flexed...I took my 35's off of my leveled '04 and went down to 33's to gain more clearance when off roading. They will fit if you have proper back spacing. If you run stocker for bumper you may have a tiny bit of trimming to do. Worth it.

There is a sticky in the 2004-2008 section about wheel and tire fitment. If it's leveled 2.5" and you put 35s, you should be ok with some minor trimming. Others have said that 1/4" wheel spacers will take away the need for trimming. Either way, you'll be alright.
