But as stated above that would add 0.001"-0.002" to the bore and chamber. I'd look for a barrel that is on the big side of tolerance for the project.

I have an older JLD PTR-91; it has the heavy barrel with "A##.." series S/N. It is in a ban configuration, so it is not threaded for a flash hider or compensator.
