Jun 22, 2009 · Hi, is 30 mpg with a passenger low for a '96 1100 Honda Shadow?? It has drag pipes and a windshield. I am wondering if the drag pipes and windshield causes my gas mileage to be low?? Raised the needle with 2/ 0.020" washers. Next tank was mostly highway at 80 mph (fyi, the posted speed limit here) and mpg was 42'ish.
