But it may be just enough to make the difference going in. I've done this since the late 60's and had good results each time.However you could take a piece of steel 1/8-1/4 thickx 1 inch wide and drill 2 holes in it 135MM apart. Then line it up with the bolt holes on the back of the head (10mm x1.5) and draw the new freeze plug in with the bolts. It'd take way less time than pulling the head or engine. Share.
