Reads as though you're running low on fuel which is either the float, the screws settings, supply blockage or pump failure. Number one thing to do for the time being is to eliminate the FPR and restore the dual outlet fuel filter and the fuel return line.

I use to pay 55 cents per foot for the old stuff, but today I paid nearly $9.00 for 2 feet of the f/i hose. I guess the PSI is quite a bit different (15 PSI vs 70 PSI), at least ... The line coming from the pump (over the top of the motor) goes into the single nipple on the back of the filter, the nipple directly across from that (same diameter) …If it's only leaking while it's RUNNING AT the tank, it's most likely your return line and/or hose clamp. Loosen the back bolts and remove the front to tilt the tank forward so you can inspect. My bet is it's a hose clamp at the fuel pump. If you suspect that the fuel return line is blocked, a simple test to do would be to remove the fuel return line and blow through it. If you can do this, then it is not blocked. Another test you can do is to put a fuel pressure gauge in the return line, run the engine through idle to about 1500 RPMs, and see what it reads.

All my fuel lines are custom. I took the metal lines off the intake manifold to replace the soft portion between them and the frame since it was dry rotted, and forgot to mark them. The old Jeep's with carbs used a mechanical pump that wouldn't fit on a SBC.
