This game is weird. Along with the sheds and outhouses you can search train cars this is where Ive found them alot also you can find them on the zombies in the industrial areas though this is pretty rare. They appear in the loot economy once you no longer need them. I have 11 pliers if you want 🫡.

It's hard to find a good balance tbh :/ I don't mind the 1PP darkness personally, I like that it's so dark it encourages use of light sources, whereas the 3PP night is so bright that they feel useless and even NVG's aren't that much help.

Chernarus is still my favorite, but have been spending sometime checking out Esseker and Chiemsee. Both have very good chances of being one of the best modded maps, with great potential and variety in landscapes available in one map. They literally admitted how fucked up the development was and fans were like "but there's still hope!". IMO the only reason DayZ has seen a resurgence and has so many positive reviews now is because modding was added.
