Lighter is only better if you have a physical condition, like back or shoulder issues and just can't handle the extra weight, imho. Personally, weight isn't even something I consider when looking for a guitar. If it's 5 lbs or 11 lbs, I don't care, as long as it sounds and plays good.

Texas twang is like a treble boost/fuzz and adds well, twang and shimmer and gets a srv sound. As the poster above mentioned, these pedals are for cranked amps.
