I mean, before Despecialized, if you wanted the non SE editions, it was either Laserdisc rips or the 2008 bonus discs which were just sourced from the Laserdisc master tapes. These were fine on 4x3 crts, but looked really bad on HD televisions. Then came Puggo’s 16mm set, but the prints were faded, beat up and the capture was done on DV.
