Last night I decided to apply for the Sheetz gas card since I mainly use them since it's across the street from my employer. They offer 5 cents off per gallon, and my regular Sheetz reward card (not credit card) gives 3 cents off for a total of 8 cents. Someone got me a gift card, which I added to the app, but I see that it's a QR code, not a barcode. I tried to use it at the pump today but it said "card not recognized". Went to my email and tapped on the "validate email" button and I was told my account was activated. I then went to a Sheetz gas station and swiped the barcode for my loyalty rewards card in the app at the pump. But I did not get 3 cents off per gallon.
