I'd say I've explored about 100 caves, and only found the one pond so far but at least ten of the caves with the frozen pool and stone golem, so it's seemingly rarer than that. They're not very rare. It's just RNG. I've found a dozen or so. I would say the chances are something like 1/5 or 1/10. They usually can be found in the deepest dungeon on the highest leak. I only ever found one, over the 15 or so frost caves I fully explored. And from what I heard, even that is lucky.

The black forest one has red torches, frost cave has blue, and the plains one is a large very out of place looking tower. only 3 of each will generate in your world. I have no idea if interacting with Hilders map does any camera shenanigans to point you the right way like the boss stones in no map mode but worth a shot.
