All you need to do in order to secure Galactic Zone is to obtain 20 Star Cores. I tried it on a stealth character, managed to kill less than five robots (not including turrets).

No, you just need to destroy every single robot in the Galactic Zone. You can also use the star cores to shut down certain classes of robot. You only need all of the star cores to get the powered armor in the case. if i'm remembering correctly you only need 20 to deactivate all the robots and allow the flag to go up.

I'm determined to find them all myself. I only have two left out in the park somewhere. I'm pretty sure the last 2 (and 1 more on the galaxy world grounds) are all in the areas I've found that you need park power to get into, and I haven't gotten to that point yet.
