Scavs will often run away or instantly go prone if you shoot near or at them. None of this is guaranteed but just a guideline. Identifying scavs with audio: Listen to how they walk. Run streets scavs a lot. Earliest I’ve ever spawned was like 47 minutes. Average spawn time is around 33-37 minutes. In 20 raids I’d spawn in the 40s maybe once or twice. Really common in my experience to get 40-45 min spawns. I think they need to add a 10 min buffer at raid start before player scavs start appearing.
