First, I apologize for a long post, go to the last paragraph for what fixed my start/stop issue. 3 weeks ago, I started having start/stop issues with my 2017.5 Compass Trailhawk. I was getting the “A” alert on my dash and the start stop not operational message.

It is also not in the relay box located up near the battery. I've disconnected the horn but worried about draining battery if relay keeps pulling juice.
