Rode it the first time for about 10 minutes and overheat light came on. Checked coolant resevoir and it was full, however the radiator took quite a bit of water. Rode for a little longer next time, and light comes on ...Remove the gas tank cover. Then remove the gas tank and you can easily get to the starter. The running board needs to be removed. The most difficult bolt to access on the cover is the one in like the 10 o’clock position on top rear of the cover. Find a multi-meter. Check to make sure that your battery has 12V~ at the terminals. The solenoid is located between the airbox and battery underneath the seat. IT RUNS GOOD BUT WHEN YOU FIRST GIVE IT SOME THROTTLE IT FEELS AND SOUNDS LIKE THE BELT OR SOMETHING IS SLIPPING. WHEN IT FINALLY DOES CATCH IT MAKES ...Unplug it and check the wires for power. One should have power. If neither has power with the ignition on then check the fuses. If one does have power then jump it to the other. If the fan comes on, the temp switch is bad. If it doesn't, with the wires still jumped, check for power at the fan. If there is power, the fan is no good.

if you a volt meter check the power of the battery,it should be about 12volts. with it not running.but if it is 9.5 v to lower replace the battery. now if its running the voltage should only be about 13-14 volts.any higher then the voltage regulater is prolly faulty and in need of replacemet. oh yeah and get some new bulbs for the lights after ...

If that's the case, WD40 will sometimes loosen them. If the cable pulls out of the plunger, use a screwdriver to reach in and turn the plunger while pulling.
