I ended up spending a bit of time trying to figure it out, and it seems that you need to go to GT Auto -> Customize Cars -> Custom Parts -> Rear -> Type B. For whatever reason that changed the maximum front downforce from 100 to 200 for me.Had a wonderful evening testing out most of your recent 1.40 tunes. The standouts for me were the Porsche 992, that beastly Challenger SRT Demon, the LFA, and the XJ13. The XJ13 especially was a special experience in VR. It hits 197mph on FM6 and 210mph on FM1.

I basically just put Praiano's recent 700pp Audi R8 tune on the Veyron and it's pretty competent. 1:38.xxx with ease around Watkins Glen. I'll attach my maxed out TA build, but it would be easy to detune it to 800pp. Will likely be worthless fuel consumption-wise though. The R8 tune does work very well for this car.

It seems that this bug only affect the 1st gear. There is a range of preset (Top speed auto) , where you can set the 1st gear at his maxi speed value. If you take the Genesis G70 '22 for example, 1st gear pre 1.44 = 117 kmh. PP may change over the course of gaming updates, praianos tune is from 1.34 which is in game terms "old". Also I can tell you dont have the same tuning parts installed, have a look at the gearing sheet: At least one of the parts that change the engines redline is not the same. praiano63 Kujala67.

Looking at my garage, it's very likely that I used the 458 Italia Gt3 '13, and just reduced the power to 700pp. Other Ferrari's that I have in my garage that are sitting at 700pp (likely from praiano tunes) are the GTO '84, Testarossa '91, and F12berlinetta '12.
