I'm CMPSC and I took STAT 318, and I have a friend who took 414 (I believe it was 414). From what she told me, 318 seemed much easier. Though, if you are aiming for the double major, it might do you better to take 414. If you are only going for the CMPSC major, it'd probably be easier to just take 318 and 319.
