Today I bought the ones that were missing, including federation and some species packs. Once updated I tried to play but the game crashes. I don't use any mod. The game keeps crashing when loading a specific save. Whenever I try to load my most recent save file it will only load up to "Loading map graphics" and then crash, while still playing music for a brief period. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but that didn't fix it. I can load other saves, it's just this one that isn't working ...

One fix is to add -opengl at startup args. If you get red dots/lines after opengl turn off anisotropic filtering at GPU control.
