Our current UHC plan for ER visit is $400 copay plus 20% coinsurance for the bill. We might switch to Surest as the flat $500 sounds more reasonable, when comparing the two policies anyway, considering there’s no additional coinsurance. We still haven’t decided though, open season is stressful.
