Active noise cancelling. Hi I hooked up my sub and amp in my 2017 Chevy Impala lt with the non Bose system. I used a loc tied into my real door speakers . Now the problem is the car the active noise cancelation feature which which is now rumbling through my subs . I've seen some videos that say to just cut the wire at the factory amp .

2 people found this helpful. could be loose fan blade on shaft on the motor, the blade is held on with a set screw on the shaft, or maybe something up inside fan housing like leaf or stick also. This is an old post but I might help somebody else with the same problem. It’s a motor actuator. I have a 2010 impala.

You can see the door and feel it clicking with the glove box out. With the ignition on, and AC fan on low, try adjusting your hot/cold knobs, one at a time, to see if the noise starts. Then try selecting recirc. Next try selecting a different vent (feet, face, defrost). The idea is to identify which control causes the noise to start. That indicates which of the 3 or 4 actuators need replacing.
