All of the lighting controls are within AWCC and if you uninstalled AWCC with LED lights off, it will remain that way I believe. Yeah I changed the settings and the lights are still not on. I went through the front panel power-button board and I was wondering what those 3 connections are for.

Mar 9, 2013 · The alienfx lighting doesn't switch off. The screen goes off, the alien head on the back of that laptop goes off. But the back light on the keyboard and trackpad and lights on the front of the laptop do not switch off. I cant find a solution to this, my previous m14x didn't do this. I know this is comment is old, but if you still need help; Try clicking on the up arrow on your taskbar (right side) look for a silver alienware head on the menu that you just brought up right click it and disable "enable 3rd party AlienFX access".
