I've never bothered using Sharpshooter since the +10 to attack without penalty bug is too strong. I pick ASI Dex instead. 2 more points into Dex still gives you +1 to attack and damage of each crossbow, helps with initiative, and AC. Can't think of any other Feat alternative to Sharpshooter.
