Up until 3yrs ago, it sat for nearly 10yrs w/o use. Regardless, shortly after I started using it (parents gave it to me), it developed a drive problem.I am also not familiar with how to take out a crank shaft and replace it. "Real or True" John Deeres 21 inch mowers are definitely worth restoring. Especially the 14SB, 14SE, 14SX, 14SC (All Silver Deck), JX75, JE75, JX85 (All Green Deck) etc. The list is endless!
