Not sure if they replaced the hinge, or gave me an entire new chassis and just swapped the HD. It says they replaced the hinge, LCD bevel and the back cover, but even the keyboard is missing the stickers that were on it, so I think it was entirely replaced, which makes more sense and was probably than just replacing the hinge. To address the first issue first make sure you have all critical updates from Lenovo installed. Sometimes Vantage may skip something. And run a battery calibration cycle with Vantage. Those hinge issue posts you have seen recently are regarding the Legion 7i (2020), not the new Legion 7 (2021). So far there have been no reported issues with the updated Legion and the new hinge design. Plus it's only been out for a few weeks, so far too short of a time period to know about its long term durability.
