Finally, the list of the National Scholarship Semi-finalists for 2023 has been released for the students. The scholarship, which I organized by the National Merit for the students of USA, will be awarded to successful candidates so all the candidates must apply here before the deadline.
The top 1%, or about 16,000 students across the country, are named National Merit Semifinalists. This is an honor in itself, and it also means you could go on to be named a Finalist and receive scholarship money. Some colleges also award their own merit scholarships to National Merit Semifinalists.About 95 percent of the semifinalists are expected to attain finalist standing, and approximately half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.
