Polaris ranger forum problems.
2011 Ranger 800 efi problem. I purchased an 800 Ranger efi in November. It has been back at the shop three times for electrical harness problems and is currnetly in again for nine days so farand counting. Each time it is a different harness problem. The dealer has patched or repaired the the broken wire/wires each time.

I had hard shifting problems with mine, Polaris put in a 2012 clutch. Same problem. The 13&14 have the same hard shifting issues. There are no aftermarket clutch kits, springs, etc. available for the diesels. The only solution to the problem is a dura clutch. I installed on in mine andIt might be low fuel pressure. You might do a load test on the battery to make sure it is good. My 2014 570 ranger sometimes has a problem idling and starting up. Does not do it all the time but is getting more frequent. I live 1 and 1/2 hours drive from a dealer. I would appreciate any thoughts as to what may be causing the problem.
Ranger 500 4x4 gear shifting problems. '05 Polaris Ranger 500 4x4 has approx .350hrs. Noticed about 4 months ago when I shift gear lever into H, it made a grinding sound. I needed to shift it back to N a couple times and then into H until I hear it click into H. Sometimes it goes in first try and other times it takes a few attempts.

Now to contact Polaris and see if they will repair under goodwill as my ranger is 10 moths old and only 890 km (550 mi) Crossing my fingers!!
Turns out the hole problem was the lower hinge that bolts to the cab frame is very soft metal and was bending. Pulled doors off and lower hinge flattened it back out and all my problems went away. You couldn't tell, it seemed like it was shut normal.
