Sep 11, 2016 · Probably not. The bike frame is the ground half of the electrical circuit and with the shift motor not touching the frame, it is missing the return path. So either use a temporary wire from the shift motor housing to a bare place on the frame or touch the housing to a bare portion of the frame. Then see if it actuates. thanks Rick, will do.
