The GT4 RS and Spyder RS are available, if you can get an allocation. A Carrera S, whether rear wheel or all wheel drive, are a loooong wait - up to 2 years according to my local dealer. 718 GTS 4.0 seem to be easier to get these days than previously.

Since you can't test drive the gt4 the only possibility would be to see if they have a gt3 you could compare to a 911s or gts. That might give you an idea of the difference between the two cars.
