How rare is the shrouded ghost.
A meg will spawn every 80- 90minutes of in game time. You won't encounter a meg within the first 80min, unless its another players ( someone that has been on for 80+ min). Megs can't spawn anywhere in open ocean, as I have camped for hundreds of minutes in various open ocean spots with no spawn. I have camped various locations for testing and data.

As soon as you encounter a meg there's probably a 0.5% chance that it's the shrouded ghost or something like that. Of course I don't have the exact numbers since I'm not a dev but I'm assuming it's something like that. The shrouded ghost isn't something you can hunt or something, you just need to be lucky AF.It is the "Shrouded Ghost", so having it be .02% in the fog/shroud instead of .01% would make sense. Its pretty rare, seems like its been posted a bit more than usual this update, but I have never seen one and have been playing since beta. You don’t find the shrouded ghost. It finds you. Don’t go looking for it. Shrouded needs to just spawn naturally. Whether that would be in a fight or during a voyage.
