Maybe it is a little confusing to the novice. Let's say you have 10t on the Jack shaft and 50 on the axle, that's 5 to 1, multiply that times the engine to Jack shaft, 2.0, and you have 10.0. If you leave the engine and gas sorry Jack shaft gears blank, at the intersection of 10 and 50, you'll see 5.0. Sorry if it's confusing.

Sep 12, 2016. #3. You are manually bypassing the Governor by "pressing that bar down". There is no way to 'correctly' bypass the governor with linkages. You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. IMO, the two are completely different things. A governor works to limit RPMs. A throttle stop works to limit power. Mar 27, 2017. #6. weenie pipe header, not much, but you can retain a lot of the torque you would lose on a large diameter open header at low rpms. open/multi stage header will be less restrictive at high rpms, and (combined with other modifications) will allow the engine to rev up to higher rpms not attainable with a weenie pipe or stock muffler.
