Didn't have any issues with my 8200, just upgraded to the S33 though. Same price new. CM1000 is good for me. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I've used Motorola/Arris cable modems for years with no issues whatsoever. I don't think that any providers are using netgear, but they are using Arris pretty heavily.
