Might be the thing to use with the front that AMJD429 posted. The point about the eye centering the front sight when using a peep is well taken.The old Rossi 92s have a barrel band with a pinned front sight. You can replace it with a blade of a different height, but it's a lot less versatile than a dovetail front sight. On the other hand, the older 92s don't have the cheesy safety. The best rear sight looks like the XS sight that straddles the bolt, on top of the reciever.I replaced the rear sight on my 357 rossi, with a marble's flat top sporting rear sight.
