The new B&C stock is a lot better than the old B&C a little thick in grip and forearm IMHO but it has an aluminum chassis. I was thinking either using a Howa 1500 HBAR or a Savage 11 hog hunter/ 12 varmiter and finding a m40 style stock for them. I don't know about the howa's having many options for that, but I heard Bell and Carlson had the 1000/M40 model that looks somewhat similar for the savages, but has a thicker flat forend on them.
I have two stocks for savage 110 blind mag staggered feed top bolt release.
