Definitely pump the cane up. At +10 it's a monster esp with good gems. If you're maining the Cane, i definitely recommend Skill to 50. Cane scales with that and so do your viscerals so it's a great combo. In summary, find a weapon that you love and try to find a second that complements the first well. Rakuyo for skill or Burial blade for skill, LHB or Saw Cleaver for Quality, Pizza Cutter for Strength, Chikage for Blood. All the weapons are good I cycle through all of them even in pvp My favorites are the Pizza cutter, Chikage, and Beast claw.
Reiterpallasch is more of a pure skill weapon. The only blood damage dealing attack is the gun shot, which doesn’t have the best scaling. If you go 50 in both stats, you can use pure skill weapons and bloodtinge weapons. Bloodtinge in particular needs lots of investment to shine. Be careful of overleveling if you care about matchmaking range.
