Do not accept training so you can level your character as you want. Tiefling Scoundrel will get you a +2 CHR but you can make just about any Iconic work. F.

Just for the record: the Wizard build, as it is, doesn't 'suck' for me when I play endgame content in reaper mode 6-10.
