Factorio there is no spoon.
The first two hours is the most important to get right. Keep multiple saves. (Spoon-1, Spoon-2, etc.) at regular time intervals so you can backtrack if things go sideways. Huge starting area (I didn't realize this), rich large resources. I also prefer a desert starting area. Chopping trees costs time.
Playthrough like I was going for there is no spoon, but don't worry about missing. Don't remove anything, just go. No reworking with new tech, even the original burners are still there. I've done several megabases, complex circuit builds, 1000+SPM, but I'm oddly proud of this one. Currently there are quite a few settings to make the enemies easier in a no spoon run and related achievements. These settings are all in the "Advanced settings" tab of "New game".
