The craziness comes with the DLC’s which add lots of gear and some end game mobs. That being said, Shaman with Wendigo Totem is potent. It damages in an area and heals you when it does. Shaman + Soldier gives you lots of tankiness and very solid dps. It may not be the strongest, but it’s among the easiest to run. It needs gear to be good - my dead HC Death Knight can attest to that - but the huge pile of stats that you can get from the bottom row, and Field Command, plus the massive power of Cadence with endgame levels of multipliers, not needing to stack so much resistance reduction, enormous damage reduction from War Cry, are all huge ...
