Jeep wrangler overheating while driving.

2000 TJ 4.0 Dies while driving (156000mi) Jeep dies while driving down the road. On occasion it acts like it's not getting fuel. Most of the time its like someone turned the key off. A lot of us (including myself) don't really like seeing the numbers so high, but there's no choice but to accept that the engineers designed the engine to operate at this temperature range.This has happened twice in the past two weeks. The TJ has 90,000 miles on it and it appears that the water pump and hoses (and likely thermostat) were changed recently. Coolant level is full and there are no leaks. Fan clutch is good and thermostat is new. Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside. Also drained and refilled the system completely. If you haven't added an auxiliary cooler for the transmission (assuming automatic) then you might consider adding one. I have the 2011 JKU Rubicon which tended to heat up. Once I added the extra cooler, it has not overheated -despite running offroad in 110 degree temps.
