Kubota tractor not starting.

Battery is good, cranks over, just won't fire and start. Checked fuses, checked fuel filter (looks good on fuel & level) and tried to check fuel pump. When turning the key, this turns left to pre-heat the plugs. You have to push the clutch pedal in (yes, this has a clutch pedal even though it's HST) to start. SOLUTION; So I went to the barn, got under the tractor and located the foot pedal linkage. There is a safety switch in that location. My SKid plate was jammed against the linkage so the safety switch would not engage ( only on the reverse side of the pedal was blocked) I removed the skid plate and it started.
