Zer0 probably gets the #2 spot thanks to skills like b0re and Crit Ascensi0n giving him an edge against a number of bosses, but he's not as well rounded as Sal. The build is straightforward, and can be used in either situation. In addition, it has a high elemental damage potential. For players who wish to reach level 50, the main skill trees are Cataclysm and Harmony.
At this point your essential skills are cloud kill, ruin, converge, wreck, and reaper which are all going to contribute to your DPS in a huge way. imo Maya is the best mobbing character and can survive UVHM without any unique or legendary gear.
