I did a similar comparison between a Lumtec M57 and a Seiko Monster but came up with a different conclusion, the Monster is very good but the Lumtec was better, stronger and ultimately longer lasting despite using orange lumes.

I find it more convenient to charge by mobile phone's flash light. Because wherever I go, I always bring my mobile phone with me, not the light bulbs.

The aesthetic was very poor, a blob of grey glue but what's more worrying is that next to a Tuna the lume looked weak. I have a Turtle with killer lume but ... If your watch had 40 tubes you could pay close to $500 to replace those tubes in today's dollars.
