For Nagakiba, I actually love the default Piercing Fang ash. Enemies with shields can be tough against a katana, and Piercing Fang will go right through that. It also gives you even more range. It's like a baby Giant Hunt. Twinblades are certainly a ton of fun, so if you're enjoying the poleblade more then just stick with that.
