If on the street primarily I recommend 80-90, if you offroad a lot I would recommend using the 75-140 to reduce shock loads and for more protection to the gears at the cost of greater parasitics since the oil is thicker and therefore resists movement a bit more. Diff= Amsoil recommended 75W-90, …60k miles on axles and tcase. Axles take a regular gl-5 75w-90. Tcase takes a special gl4 oil. Trans varies. Manual needs oil changes at 50k, redline MTL works good in the 5 speed. Auto should have the pan drained and refilled (swaps roughly 1/3 of fluid) at 60k-120k miles depending on severity of service.

I recently (5000 miles ago) put Redline synthetic in my tranny and rear end (MT-90 for tranny, and 75w90 in rear), the tranny has never shifted so smoothly as it does now with the synthetic, and it has about 129k hard miles on it. no problems with the rear end either.
