Coasted into a parking lot and pulled codes truck has code u18a2 loss of comunication with fuel pump driver control module. The truck is a 2018 gmc 2500 l5p. No codes, no other symptoms other than using 7 gallons of DEF in 2800 miles. Which seems excessive for not towing. Hold the brake add trottle and can hear loud hiss. This VSE unit IMO is best since there is filtration AFTER the WIF sensor. Single filter L5P aftermarket units the WIF sensor is on the 'clean' side of the filter....if the water light comes on then it's too late. I"m not sure what relay 1 or 2 is for the lift pump but all fuses seem to be fine and I have bench tested relay 1 and it seems to be fine. I'm gonna add also that the fuel gauge isn't working either.
