If activated, it may be reset by turning the ignition off and firing the engine again. You may also try disconnecting the negative battery cable. Hello all, i need some help diagnosing/troubleshooting some issues i have been having with my 2008 patriot sport. On my dash panel, I have the warning lights for ABS, esp/bas, traction control, 4wd!, and brake system lights on. The throttle body is a part of the ESC system, and if any part of the system shows a fault, the ESC is automatically disabled. The problem will probably come back after a while. .
