Check Engine, RAB, Eye Sight, X mode & Every other dash light. 2020 Ascent. I woke up yesterday, started my vehicle and every dash light was on and it was locked into X Mode. I had it towed to NFL Subaru and was told it was due to my gas cap not being fully tightened.

Jun 9, 2018 · Drastic fix for faulty RAB. Previously I had posted in a few threads about how the RAB would fail and disable itself until the next time the car was started. There was also a tied in issue with the airbag throwing some generic code and also being disabled when the RAB failed.

All I have to do is press and hold that indicator for 3 to 5 seconds. It then changes to RAB-OFF. While RAB is turned off, there are no further issues with backing up the trailer. Best news is that there is an indicator that appears on the dash, reminding you that you have it turned off.
